Experience

Obtained an honours degree in Architecture and Environmental design in 1972 from the University of Nottingham followed by an additional degree in Architecture also from Nottingham.

Registered with the Architect registration board as an Architect and elected as a member of the RIBA.

The Practice is a registered Charter Practice with the RIBA.

Previous experience was as managing director for 20 years of Jaques Associates Ltd an architectural practice carrying out a wide range of works up to £10million in value.

Since 1998 I have operated as sole principal of Paul A Jaques Architect specialising in domestic work to a high standard.

I have also acted as an expert witness for 15 years with experience involving construction disputes. This has involved instructions form solicitors and appearances under cross examination in court.

I am also an Adjudicator on the RIBA panel of adjudicators and responsible for over 100 decisions in this field. I have also represented parties in adjudication and mediation procedures.
